Procedure for Substitution of a Candidate under Section 34 of the Electoral Act 2006
"It is now settled law that a substitution to be sucessful, the party must satisfy the conditions laid in section 34 of the Electoral Act, 2006; that it must give cogent and verifiable reasons for seeking the substitution else the venture is a failure."
